An incredibly easy and delicious peach cobbler made with canned peaches and a cake mix. This simple dessert is perfect for gatherings and can be prepared in minutes with minimal effort.

Ingredients
  

For the Peach Layer:

  • 2 (15 oz) cans of sliced peaches in light syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

For the Cake Mix Topping:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional Toppings:

  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream

Optional Flavor Enhancers:

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream (to add moisture)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (to prevent soggy bottom)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Drain canned peaches completely
  • Mix cake mix with melted butter and eggs
  • Spread peaches in baking dish
  • Pour cake mix batter over peaches
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving
  • Optional: Dust with powdered sugar
