For the Chicken Gravy:
- 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 3 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cup Milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
For the Mashed Potatoes:
- 2 pounds Potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 4 tbsp Butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
Simmer potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes or until they are soft. Drain and return to pot.
Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
Make the Chicken Gravy:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Cook until thickened.
Add the chicken shreds, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
