Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Gravy:

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 cup Milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder

For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 2 pounds Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

  • Simmer potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes or until they are soft. Drain and return to pot.
  • Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Make the Chicken Gravy:

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Cook until thickened.
  • Add the chicken shreds, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Serve:

  • Spoon mashed potatoes onto plates and top with chicken gravy.
