- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Jalapeños, diced
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Sheet puff pastry
- 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Olive oil should be heated in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook until the steak is browned after adding the ground beef and onion.
Cook for an additional two minutes after adding the cumin, garlic, jalapenos, salt, and pepper.
Remove from heat and mix in cheddar cheese.
Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet and fill with beef mixture.
Fold pastry over and seal edges. Brush with beaten egg.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
